Refractive errors<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>The 3 most common refractive errors found in children are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.optometrists.org\/general-practice-optometry\/guide-to-eye-health\/how-does-the-eye-work\/astigmatism-top-9-faqs\/\">astigmatism<\/a> (irregularly curved cornea), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.optometrists.org\/childrens-vision\/guide-to-pediatric-eye-conditions\/what-is-myopia\/\">myopia<\/a> (nearsightedness) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.optometrists.org\/childrens-vision\/guide-to-pediatric-eye-conditions\/what-is-long-sightedness\/\">hyperopia<\/a> (farsightedness).
