The iris muscles regulate the pupil&#8217;s size, making it larger in dim light and smaller in bright light.<\/p>\n<p>Anisocoria is a symptom of several medical conditions, some of them very serious.<\/p>\n<h2><b>What causes anisocoria?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.optometrists.org\/general-practice-optometry\/eye-conditions\/guide-to-blurry-vision-and-headaches\/when-is-blurred-vision-a-medical-emergency\/unequal-pupil-sizes-anisocoria\/\">Anisocoria<\/a> can result from a variety of causes.
