However, there is no need to panic as most of the time, you can remove it safely at home. Just follow these steps to safely remove the object from your eye:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wash your hands with soap and water<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Locate the object by looking in a mirror<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Squeeze your eyelids shut and blink to produce tears which will flush the object out. Do not rub your eyes, as it can make the problem worse.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the object is behind the upper eyelid: pull your upper lid gently over your lower eyelid, then look upward to push the object off the upper lid.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the object is under the lower lid or in the corner of your eye, use a damp soft cloth or cotton swab to gently remove it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use a cup of lukewarm water to flush the object out by placing your eye over the cup with your lids open, and slowly pour lukewarm water into your eye.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remember \u2013 Eyes are extremely delicate.
